Todd E. Steyer

Todd Steyer is senior manager of specialty materials and integration at The Boeing Company (Huntington Beach, CA). He holds a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) and B.S. in metallurgical engineering & materials science and engineering & public policy from Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA). 

He served on the executive committee of the United States Advanced Ceramics Association as both vice chairman and chairman. His research focuses on development of high temperature structural materials and thermal protection systems for aerospace applications.

Todd joined ACerS in 1988 and is a member of the Basic Science and Engineering Ceramics Divisions.  He is also a Trustee of the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation.
