The Glass Manufacturing Industry Council (GMIC) is encouraging interest in glass industry careers by offering $500 travel grants to 30 students attending the 77th Glass Problems Conference, November 7–10, 2016, Columbus, Oh. Students are also invited to attend the Holophane Plant Tour in Granville, Oh, on Monday, November 7, 2016 from Noon – 4:00 p.m. Students must apply in advance and receive permission to participate. Plant tour participation is only available to students. To apply for a grant or register for the tour, contact Donna Banks by September 30.
