The American Ceramic Society’s National Institute of Ceramic Engineers (ACerS/NICE) announces the next Order of the Engineer ceremony. Professional affiliation with the Order of the Engineer is an opportunity to “increase your pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer.”

If you are a graduating senior in engineering, a practicing engineer, or professor teaching engineering in an accredited program, you are invited to take part in the Order of the Engineer ceremony on Monday, October 17, 2011, in Columbus, OH, during the MS&T’11 meeting. Mail the application form along with a check for $25 to The American Ceramic Society by September 15, 2010.
