The ACerS Basic Science Division invites participation of young professionals in the 4th International Congress on Ceramics, which will be held July 15-19, 2012 in Chicago. BSD is offering young professionals who received their PhD degree after January 2008 and who plan to participate in ICC4 with a poster presentation, six scholarships of $500 each to offset meeting registration and travel costs.
Application Process: Candidates should submit an abstract for a traditional or interactive (electronic) poster presentation. In addition, each candidate should submit a statement of interest in the conference, limited to 300 words. Applications should be submitted to Scott Misture, BSD Chair, by January 6, 2012 (firstname.lastname@example.org). BSD officers will serve as the selection committee, and will notify the winners by January 10th, in time for abstract submission.
