The purpose of the symposium is to bring together academics, students and researchers, who are actively engaged in the research and development of advanced ceramic and technologies for sustainable energy, to discuss the current progresses in all aspects of energy science and application. The ACTSEA-2013 will be held at the GRAND HOTEL in Taipei. The Grand Hotel is selected as the “Most Traditional Hotel” by the “Hotel Club” website. The beauty of the Grand Hotel lies in its splendid Chinese architecture and classic, elegant atmosphere.

Abstracts are accepted on all aspects of ceramic materials/processing for energy efficient and low-carbon economy, including:

  •     Materials with higher performance under extreme conditions (temperatures, speed, etc.)
  •     Materials and Technologies for a low carbon, sustainable society
