Jointly programmed by ACerS Electronics Division and Basic Science Division, EMA will host these Plenary Speakers: John Blottman, “Smart Materials Enable Bioinspiration;” David Danielson, “Role of ARPA-E to Stimulate Innovations in Energy Technologies;” and Tim Anderson “The Florida Energy Systems Consortium: Integration of Electronic Materials into Energy Systems.” Electronic Materials and Applications 2010 will focus on electronic ceramics for energy storage & conversion applications and the complementary fundamental science issues. Attend this meeting to hear the latest in ceramic applications in renewable energy, “smart grid” technologies, and innovative hybrid and all-electric transportation development.
| Who Should Attend |
EMA 2010 is designed for materials scientists, engineers, students, researchers and manufacturers with an interest in renewable energy, innovative hybrid and all-electric transportation development, electrical ceramics and advanced microelectronics. We are excited about the future of this field and the opportunities that the meeting will enable. For many years, we have enjoyed a high degree of interconnectedness and intimacy in this field. We hope that this meeting will continue to foster this atmosphere and facilitate these relationships.
