Ceramic Educational Council: Founded in 1938, the CEC is an organization dedicated to stimulating, promoting and improving ceramics education, providing a national forum for discussing issues pertinent to ceramic education, curricula and institutional affairs. Its goal is to enhance interaction among those concerned with ceramic education. Join CEC for only $5!
Keramos: The Keramos National Professional Ceramic Engineering Fraternity was established in 1902 to promote the interaction between and camaraderie among ceramic engineering professionals and students. The main functions of Keramos are to promote and emphasize scholarship and character in the thoughts of students in ceramics, to stimulate mental development, and to promote interest in the professional aspects of ceramic engineering, technology, and science. Keramos membership is by invitation and induction only at one of the 12 chapters comprising the fraternity. Students, resident teaching staff, alumni, and honorary members are eligible.
