UAE’s RAK Ceramics to exit Sudan business, boost UAE capacity
United Arab Emirates-based RAK Ceramics recently said it would sell its Sudan business and use the cash raised to expand its sanitary ware production capacity in the UAE. The company has entered an initial agreement to sell all its shares in RAK Ceramics Sudanese Investment Co. and aims to complete the sale by March 31.

This technology uses photocatalysts and UV rays from sunlight to detoxify polluted water at high speeds, creating safe and drinkable water. This breakthrough caught much attention when Panasonic unveiled it in Tokyo at Eco-Products 2014.
Trulite acquires AGC’s US fabrication assets
Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions LLC has acquired the U.S. commercial fabrication assets of AGC Glass Company North America Inc. AGC residential assets are not part of the acquisition and will be retained by AGC. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
