The Nuclear & Environmental Technology Division has awarded the 2014 D.T. Rankin award to James C. Marra, Savannah River National Laboratory.  The Rankin award, which honors Tom Rankin’s memory and service to the division, recognizes a member of NETD who has demonstrated exemplary service.

The Best Paper Award goes to Pavel Hrma, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, for his paper “Experimental Investigation and Mathematical Modeling of Cold Cap Behavior in High-Level-Waste Glass Melter.” 

Both awards will be presented at the Division business meeting held at MS&T14 on October 13th, from 5:45-6:30 p.m., Convention Center, Room 315. All are invited to attend.
