In addition to the educational opportunities, ICACC’16 attendees will have valuable networking opportunities and will be part of a special 40th Jubilee Symposium, which will celebrate this anniversary and honor those who have contributed to its success.

The Jubilee celebration also includes the publication of a new book, Engineered Ceramics: Current Status and Future Prospects, edited by Tatsuki Ohji and Mrityunjay Singh.

Check out what people are saying about why they love attending ICACC:

“I really like coming to this meeting in Daytona because the work that we do at CeraNova has applications in the transparent ceramics community. And a lot of those people are here giving talks, so I’ve heard a lot of interesting technical talks.”

          — Marina Pascucci

“I think that this conference is a fantastic place to be because it gives you a chance to finally meet the people you’ve been reading, working with, calling, and emailing. You get to exchange ideas more quickly and put that face to the name.”

          — Kathleen Shugart

“There’s a lot of progressive-thinking people at the meeting. It’s recognized as the best ceramics meeting around.”

          — Ivar Reimanis

“Come and enjoy the party! It will be an excellent conference… an excellent gathering of all our friends from all over the world.”

          — Mrityunjay (Jay) Singh

And who doesn’t need a Floridian getaway in the middle of winter?

But if you need more reasons to justify the trip, just 12 miles from the conference venue is Florida’s tallest lighthouse and the nation’s second tallest brick lighthouse.

We look forward to seeing you there!
