The nomination deadlines for three important awards are coming up soon. Please review the criteria for each and if you know colleagues who qualify, support them by submitting a nomination!
The Du-Co Ceramics Scholarship Award is awarded to an undergraduate student pursing a degree in ceramic science/engineering, or materials science/engineering. The winner will receive a $3,000 check, a certificate of recognition and a $500 travel grant to attend MS&T’13 to receive the award. Visit the Du-Co page to download the application form.

The Du-Co Ceramics Young Professional Award is given to a young professional member of ACerS who demonstrates exceptional leadership and service to ACerS. Nominees must be ACerS members under the age of 40 and in the first 10 years of their career. The winner will receive a $1,500 check, a certificate of recognition and lifetime membership in ACerS. The Ceramic Education Council Outstanding Educator Award recognizes outstanding work and creativity in teaching, in directing student research, or in the general educational process (lectures, publications, etc.) of ceramic educators.
