The Glass Manufacturing Industry Council (GMIC) encourages students’ interest in glass industry careers by offering travel grants to those attending the 75th Conference on Glass Problems. GMIC will award twenty (20) student travel grants in the amount of $500 to offset travel expenses. All students are eligible to receive complimentary conference registration and a reduced price for lodging. Eligible graduate or undergraduate students must submit a 1-2 page CV and a statement describing how the conference will benefit them.  Student travel grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students are also invited to attend the Owens Corning Plant Tour, hosted Monday, November 3, 12 – 4 p.m.

Contact Donna Banks by September 30, 2014, to apply for a travel grant or the student tour.
