Call for papers!

The Art, Archaeology and Cultural Science Division (AACS) is organizing a two-day symposium highlighting the latest discoveries in the scientific study of cultural heritage, and showcasing novel strategies that employ cultural heritage for education in engineering and science. This symposium features the newest findings surrounding the technology, engineering and materials associated with art, archaeology and cultural heritage, including pigments, ceramics, glass, and metals. Submissions that explore innovative approaches to training and learning at the intersection of engineering, science, technology and cultural heritage are welcome. All submissions that pertain to the scientific study of cultural heritage, or advance its understanding and preservation, will be considered. Student support is available. 

Submit your abstracts by March 16, 2016.
