Benjamin Parruzot is a scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (Richland, WA, USA) in the Radiological Materials and Detection Group. His work focuses primarily on the study of the long-term alteration of low-activity as well as high-level nuclear waste glasses.
Parruzot earned his Ph.D. at University of Montpellier in 2014 for a work focused on the use of basaltic glasses as natural analogues to the long-term behavior of nuclear waste glasses in geological repository conditions, performed at CEA Marcoule (France) under the direction of Stéphane Gin and Patrick Jollivet.
