More than 80 industry leaders enjoyed networking with their peers at the ACerS Corporate Member breakfast held at this year’s Ceramics Expo. Along with the complimentary breakfast was a chance to learn about ACerS enhanced efforts to serve manufacturers and suppliers, including the recently launched Corporate Partnership program.
Charlie Spahr, Executive Director, explained how these efforts include Ceramics Expo, establishment of the Ceramic & Glass Industry Foundation, the Ceramic Business & Leadership Summit, technical workshops, market research, corporate awards, and the new program for corporate members.
Membership Director, Kevin Thompson, followed with an explanation of the Corporate Partnership program, designed to forge more meaningful partnerships with member companies. Thompson explained how benefits for partner companies focus in three primary areas: Marketing and Business Development; Professional and Workforce Development; and Technical Resources. “This new program is about adding value and visibility for our corporate partners, and encouraging ACerS members to support those companies who support the Society”, informed Thompson.
Corporate Partners receive all the benefits available to the 160 existing Corporate Members, while enjoying valuable new benefits that include advertising, workshops, research reports and more. The new partnership program will fully replace the existing Corporate Member program by the end of 2018. “Our goal is to best meet the needs of industry by forming partnerships with member companies. This program will evolve as we continue to explore how to best meet those needs”, continued Thompson
