ICACC Women in Ceramics luncheon

The inaugural Women in Ceramics Luncheon will feature a panel of women with diverse perspectives and experiences in the field of ceramics. The event will start with a brief panel-led discussion focusing on experiences, goals and best practices for effectively addressing barriers for increased diversity and inclusion in ceramics, materials science and the broader fields of science, technology, engineering and math.  This interactive discussion will be guided by an audience-led Q&A followed by small group discussions over lunch.

Improving and sustaining the diversity of the ceramics field, as well as developing and fostering an inclusive environment is not limited to any one group—we welcome those of from all backgrounds (academia to industry, domestic to international), all experience levels (students to fellows) and those of all gender identities, race, sexual orientation or physical capability to join us for a stimulating discussion of the needs and solutions within our field.
