Travel Information

If you require a letter inviting you to PACRIM8 in order to secure your travel visa, please download the Invitation Letter from ACerS President John Kaniuk. The PDF allows you to personalize with the date and your name & address in the gray fields.

An official from Citizenship and Immigration Canada has informed us that citizens of countries that require visas (e.g., China) should include the following when they complete their visa application process:

  1. The American Ceramic Society’s letter of invitation from President John Kaniuk.
  2. The Canadian Border Services Agency Recognition Letter of the PACRIM8 event. This is on the Canadian Border Services Agency’s official letterhead.

If you are a speaker or poster presenter, you should also include the following documents:

  1. The letter from The American Ceramic Society indicating that your presentation has been accepted and identifying the date and time. (Note: You have already received this letter from Marilyn Stoltz via email and by postal service.)
  2. Presenter’s Letter of Introduction. The PDF allows you to personalize with the date and your name in the gray fields.

If you need additional assistance, please email Marilyn Stoltz
