MEETING IS CANCELED

In light of recent events related to the coronavirus known as COVID-19, The American Ceramic Society is announcing that the Structural Clay Products Division & Southwest Section Meeting in conjunction with the National Brick Research Center Meeting will be canceled for this year.

This decision, which was not taken lightly, is based on guidance from the WHO and the CDC, as well as local government and public health authorities of our conference venue.

If you have already registered for the conference, our customer service department will be in contact with you to discuss refunding your registration fee. Please note that members of the National Brick Research Center will receive an invitation to a web meeting in the next few days to review research and operations of the NBRC.

We appreciate the efforts of our organizers, volunteers, vendors, and partners to work with us and respond to a fast-changing situation in a way that allows us to continue to serve our members and mission. We apologize for this inconvenience; however, we believe that canceling this meeting will protect the health of our attendees and staff members.

On behalf of our leaders, we extend the Society’s best wishes for health. We encourage our members to contact us with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you all in Austin, Texas June 7–9, 2021 at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown for SCPD 2021.
