Session 3: Glass under Extreme Conditions

 

Extreme conditions are manifold. This session will focus of the influence of these extreme conditions on the structure and properties of glasses. Potential topics are: Properties of glasses at high pressure and/or high temperature; effect of temperature on synthesis and the properties of glasses; levitation techniques; high magnetic fields; and radiation damage to glasses.
