BDF Industries secures African contract
BDF Industries has received a melting and forming order from Frigoglass Nigeria. Frigoglass’s Nigerian plant Guinea Glass will proceed with the complete rebuilding of the 210 TPD Furnace 1 and four GTFS Forehearths. An additional overhaul of IS lines will complete the scope of the work.
Arc International to invest €60 million in Peaked Hill Partners turnaround
Arc International announced that shareholders and creditors have signed an agreement with an investor group led by Peaked Hill Partners LLC to provide €60 million in new capital and support the company’s turnaround. The injection of new capital will help finance the restructuring of the group and the modernization of the main production site at Arques, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, while supporting growth. The Ibled-Durand family, which controlled the company for more than 100 years, will invest €2 million to retain approximately 20% of the company.
Dyatkovo Crystal Factory resumes production
Dyatkovo Crystal Factory resumed its production on Monday, February 9. Restoration work began in May last year, and in December was ready to launch a new glass furnace. In January, the first batch of glass was loaded, employing 170 people.
