Zihe Ren is a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He got his B.Sc in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia in 2009 and his Ph.D in Chemistry from Simon Fraser University in 2012.

Dr. Ren’s research area includes the synthesis and characterization of anti/ferroelectric ceramic and single crystals, TiO2-based nanomaterials and the leaching of Cu-containing natural minerals. He has five papers on which he is the first author, and is the coauthor on three technical papers.

Dr. Ren’s current work focuses on the composition/structural analysis on Cu-containing minerals and the according leaching methods. His study also involves the synthesis and analysis on anti-corrosion materials.
