The President’s Council of Student Advisors (PCSA) is the student-led committee of The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) composed of ceramic-focused students. The mission of PCSA is to engage students as active and long-term leaders in the ceramics community and to increase participation in ACerS at the local, national, and international levels. PCSA is looking for dedicated and motivated undergraduate and graduate students to get involved and to help advance ACerS into the future.

Why participate in PCSA? Being a PCSA delegate or representative provides a unique opportunity to represent your university in the ceramics community and is a valuable way to network for your future career. Furthermore, PCSA is an important opportunity for you to help reach and serve the next generation of ceramic materials professionals, while promoting awareness of ceramic science and engineering to the general public. PCSA delegates and representatives also benefit from various leadership and professional development opportunities.

For more information about PCSA activities, including outreach and programming, as well as how to get involved, visit the ACerS PCSA webpage or download the delegate application or representative application form. The delegate application deadline is June 7, 2013, so apply today!
