The 2011 tutorial is “Geochemical speciation modeling and transport processes applied to cement-based materials” and will feature Barbara Lothenbach from EMPA, the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology. The Della Roy Lecture, sponsored by Elsevier, will be given by Karen Scrivener, Professor and Head of the Laboratory of Construction Materials at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland) and founder of the Nanocem Consortium.
