The Glass & Optical Materials Division is pleased to present the 2013 Alfred R. Cooper Scholar Award to Maxwell Marple, undergrad student at Iowa State University. His lecture title is: Thermal Behavior of Mechanically Milled Chalcogenide Glasses. The talk will be given at the Cooper Session on Monday afternoon, Oct. 28th at MS&T. Congratulations!
The 2013 Cooper Distinguished Lecturer is Alexandra Navrotsky from the University of California, Davis. Her lecture title is: New Frontiers in the Thermochemistry of Glassy, Amorphous, and Nanoscale Materials. Her talk will also be given at the Cooper Session.
