About the Carolinas Section of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS)
The Carolinas Section of ACerS, petitioned in 2019 and founded in January of 2020, provides members and the community with a way to develop a network of colleagues in North and South Carolina, allowing them to strengthen connections with ceramic and glass industry professionals with whom we meet to discuss the latest industry trends, share experiences, inspire students and future leaders, and volunteer on initiatives that spark common interests.
As a local source of ceramic and glass industry education, information, and interaction, the Carolinas Section bring the Society’s vast resources directly to you. As a member of the Carolinas Section, you benefit from:
– Networking with colleagues in your area
– Educational and professional growth opportunities, including in-depth presentations from industry and academic professionals, facility tours, and workshops
– Social events, such as awards dinners, receptions, and social hours both locally in the Carolinas and at national ACerS meetings
– Opportunities to serve in leadership positions.
