The ACerS Germany Chapter and the Rhine Ceramic Chapter Germany hosted the 3rd International Rhine Round Table on ”Frontiers in Advanced Ceramics” on Dec. 4, 2020.

This virtual meeting was the third installment of the Rhine Round Table discussion series, jointly organized by the University of Cologne and TU Darmstadt. The panel discussed the benefits of joining a professional society.

Led by Sanjay Mathur, panelists included Alexander Michaelis, DKG president; Dana Goski, ACerS president; Eva Hemmer, MRS student engagement/ACerS board member; Jon Binner, ECerS president; Martina Zimmermann, DMG vice president; Mark Mecklenborg, ACerS executive director; Moritz von Witzleben, JECS-Trust president; and Todd M. Osman, MRS executive director.
