The ACerS Germany Chapter in cooperation with the German Materials Society organized the international Highlight Symposium: Frontiers in Advanced Functional Materials, at MSE 2020, September 22–25. Experts working on the synthesis, processing, and device integration of functional materials collaborated to provide sustainable solutions for applications in energy, environment and health sectors. Functional nanomaterials with intrinsically tailored properties and new paradigms in processing were the focus of the symposium.
The symposium symbolizes the spirit of the ACerS Germany Chapter to promote the engagement of young scientists in community activities and also to enhance intersociety (DGM and ACerS) collaborative efforts.
