To share the latest discoveries in ceramic science and technology and reconnect with colleagues from around the world, members of the ACerS Germany Chapter participated in the XVIII Conference of the European Ceramic Society from July 2–6, 2023, in Lyon, France.
ACerS president Sanjay Mathur, professor at the University of Cologne, and Francis Cambier were chairs of the ACerS–ECerS joint symposium, at which Mathur also presented his research results. Plus, Germany Chapter members Niusha Heshmati, David Patrun, and Ziyaad Aytuna presented poster and oral presentations on topics including solar cells, batteries, and high-entropy oxides.
The conference was also a great chance to meet other ACerS Chapter members during a special gathering on July 3 and pave the way for more interactive collaborations.
