The 70th Brazilian Ceramics Congress (CBC) and the 6th Ibero-American Ceramic Congress will take place from June 7 to 10, 2026, at the Wish Foz do Iguaçu Resort in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná. As the most traditional ceramics event in Brazil, the CBC annually brings together researchers, industry professionals, suppliers, and students engaged in the development, processing, and application of ceramic materials.

The 2026 edition will feature an expanded international presence through its joint organization with the Ibero-American Ceramic Congress. The program will include plenary lectures, technical sessions, poster presentations, and panel discussions in both English and Portuguese, promoting deeper engagement across academia, research institutions, and the industrial sector.

The ACerS Brazil Chapter is pleased to support this milestone edition, strengthening collaboration between Brazil and the global ceramics community. Chapter members will participate throughout the program, and initiatives dedicated to students and early-career researchers will further encourage exchange and networking.

Foz do Iguaçu—home to one of the world’s great natural wonders—will provide an exceptional backdrop for scientific interaction, innovation, and community building. Registration, abstract submission, and additional event information will be available on the official congress website: https://abceram.org.br/70cbc/
