On Oct. 19, 2023, the ACerS International Germany Chapter, in cooperation with the MRS Chapter Cologne, welcomed professor Rajiv Prakash from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhilai.
Following a lab tour, Prakash talked with bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. students about his research and answered questions about his career path. He offered life advice to the students in a relaxed atmosphere over coffee and tea.
Later, during his lecture, Prakash gave an introduction to IIT Bhilai campus life and its structure. Further, he provided more insights into his own research topics, including electronic polymers and nanocomposites as well as organic electronics, sensors, and energy storage devices. The lecture closed with a Q&A session where Prakash answered questions regarding his science.
