On Oct. 17, 2023, the ACerS International Germany Chapter welcomed Yu-Min Shen and his students, Cheng-Hsun Ho and Zhen Chong, from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan to the Institute of Inorganic and Materials Chemistry in Cologne, Germany.
The aim of their visit was to emphasize the value of international exchange in science, specifically by showing how different research groups can help each other by sharing knowledge and equipment. The main example for this discussion was the synthesis and in-situ characterization of materials for batteries and electrochemical catalysis.
The Germany Chapter members hope to welcome Shen and his students back soon!
