The 10th Italian Sol-Gel Workshop was held in Padova, Italy, on Sept. 15 and 16, 2025, in the Aula Magna of the Engineering School of Padova University. It was organized by Maria Basso, Elena Colusso, and Alessandro Martucci, professors from Padova University and by Plinio Innocenzi a professor from Sassari University. Thirty people from academia and industry participated, and fifteen oral presentations were given. This meeting sought to relaunch the series of workshops that began in Padua in 1998, on the initiative of Massimo Guglielmi, a professor from Padova University. The last Italian Sol-Gel workshop was held in Parma in 2014, following previous workshops in Trento (2012), Naples (2010), Lecce (2008), Milan (2006), Cagliari/Iglesias (2004), Trento (2002), and Parma (2000).
