The ACerS International Japan Chapter and the International Committee of the Ceramic Society of Japan completed the International Session at the Annual Meeting 2026 of the Ceramic Society of Japan in Yokohama, Japan on March 4, 2026.

Opening remarks were delivered by Yoshihiko Imanaka, chair-elect of the ACerS International Japan Chapter.

Invited talks were presented by Monica Ferraris of Politecnico di Torino in Italy, past president of ACerS for 2025-26, and Susan Trolier-McKinstry of Pennsylvania State University.

Invited talks were also given by four recipients of the 2025 Richard M. Fulrath Award: Martin Lane W. of Rice University, USA; Takashi Teranishi of Okayama University, Japan; Mori Satoshi of Niterra Co., Ltd., Japan; and Daiki Shota of Tokuyama Corp., Japan.
