The ACerS International Northeast India Chapter held a one-day seminar on National Space Day in conjunction with the Indian Space Industry Exhibitors on Aug. 14, 2025. The event took place in the 600-year-old Historic Pottery Cluster-Khurja with students and MSMEs. The Chapter served as a co-sponsor with members of the chapter providing lectures. L.K Sharma spoke on “Scope of Manufacturing of Aerospace Ceramic Components in Khurja White-ware Pottery Cluster,” while A.K. Mathur, visiting professor at ISRO Space Centre-IIT, Roorkee, spoke on the “Role of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Societal Aspects” and Vinod Kumar, director at ISRO, Bangalore, spoke on “Introduction & Progress of ISRO.”
