ACerS International Türkiye Chapter awards early career researchers  

The ACerS International Türkiye Chapter hosted a conference series honoring the late Muharrem Timuçin, a professor at Middle East Technical University (METU). The event took place on Nov. 27, 2025, at METU with more than 50 participants, including professors, young researchers, and graduate students. It was a very special day for the community as they came together to remember Muharrem Timuçin and honor his legacy.

As part of the program, three early-career researchers received article awards for their successful publications in the field of advanced ceramics. The Chapter leadership received very positive feedback from the attendees and are glad to see that this initiative has already become a strong motivation for young scientists.
