The 58th Congress of the Spanish Ceramic and Glass Society took place in Madrid in a hybrid mode for the second time on May 3 through 6, 2022. Several international institutes and ceramics and glass research centers gathered to discuss hot topics in a friendly and collaborative environment.
The Spain Chapter of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), based at the University Jaume I of Castellón, specifically at the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC), sponsored the Symposium on Additive manufacturing of ceramics and glass: Technologies, additives and printing media. The Symposium was held at the Assembly Hall of the Institute of Materials Science of the Spanish National Research Council. 15 papers were presented and approximately 40 people attended. The symposium was co-chaired by Professor Arnaldo Moreno Berto, Chair of ACerS Spain Chapter.
With many members of the ACerS Spain Chapter in attendance, including Secretary José Serafín Moya, the chapter utilized the opportunity for a working session. The chapter noted the many activities that were produced in the last two years and plans for were made for future activities for the remainder of 2022.
