MS&T18 kicked off with a full schedule of activities—from the Arthur L. Friedberg and Richard M. Fulrath lectures to the annual membership meeting, ACerS committee meetings, student tour of Owens Corning, and the Awards banquet.
Members from five organizing societies from all over the world converged in Columbus, Ohio for a week of learning, collaborating, networking, and fun. Attendance this year is up to 3,130—which is the highest it has been since 2013, when it took place in Montreal, Canada.
Check out some of the highlights from day one:
Members reconnected with each other at the ACerS lounge.
Students loved the ribbon attachments for their name badges!
Students also had the opportunity to chat with experts in their respective fields.
MS&T is definitely a place to catch up with old friends!
