The 1st International Conference on Asia Pacific Mining and Metallurgy (APMM) took place Nov. 17–20, 2019, at National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan.
The 2019 APMM was an international platform for scholars, researchers, and participants to share and discuss interdisciplinary research and findings in the engineering fields of mining and metallurgy. Topics of the conference included georesource exploration, georesource exploitation, metallurgical engineering, materials science, circular economy, and sustainable resources.
Invited keynote speakers were professors Syd Sl. Peng, Jien-Wei Yeh, Takeshi Tsuji, Shinya Kitamura, and Jing-Tao Zhu.
