ACerS is pleased to announce Hui (Claire) Xiong has been selected for Volunteer Spotlight, a program through which we recognize a member who demonstrates outstanding service to The American Ceramic Society through volunteerism.

Xiong is an associate professor in the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering at Boise State University. Xiong received her Ph.D. in electroanalytical chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. She has conducted postdoctoral work at Harvard University and Argonne National Laboratory. Xiong received the NSF CAREER Award in 2015. She is also a CAES fellow and a Scialog Fellow.

She is an active member of ACerS and is serving as an officer for the Electronics Division. She was one of the lead organizers for EMA meetings in 2020 and 2021.

We extend our deep appreciation to Xiong for her service to our Society!
