French consortium wants to mobilize €1 billion for agrivoltaic projects
Sun’Agri and RGreen Invest launched an initiative aimed at deploying around 300 agrivoltaic projects in France by 2025. Called “Cultivons Demain!” (Let’s grow crops tomorrow!), the initiative is expected to achieve water savings of around 20%.

NSG Pilkington North America ignited the furnace at its greenfield Luckey, Ohio, plant. The facility has a melting capacity of 600 tons per day of conductive oxide coated glass to supply the solar market.

Australia state unveils $23 billion energy roadmap in renewables push
Australia’s New South Wales state said it would shift toward renewable energy from coal and aimed to lure A$32 billion (US$23.3 billion) of private investment into the sector in the next decade. The plans aim to bring 12 gigawatts of wind and solar power and 2 gigawatts of storage, such as pumped hydro, online by 2030.

New solar PV inverters for large commercial roofs and solar parks
KACO new energy GmbH added five new string inverters to its product range. With outputs between 87 and 150 kilowatts, they are suitable for photovoltaic systems on commercial and industrial roofs as well as for ground-mounted solar parks. All new inverters use semiconductor components made of silicon carbide and 1,500-volt technology.
Thermo Scientific Axia ChemiSEM scanning electron microscope
Thermo Fisher Scientific released a new scanning electron microscope called the Thermo Scientific Axia ChemiSEM. Unlike traditional scanning electron microscopes, Axia ChemiSEM offers a large, flexible chamber that can accommodate samples traditionally considered too heavy for investigations involving electron microscopy, among other things.

Sinter-based additive manufacturing technology developer Rapidia Inc launched a new rapid cooling furnace. In the new furnace, the need to install a vent to the building exterior has been eliminated by the addition of a high-end activated carbon filter, while the power requirements remain unchanged compared to previous versions.
