Ambiq, a developer of ultralow-power semiconductor solutions, announced the grand opening of its new Technology Design Center in Singapore. The facility will focus on expanding design, verification, validation engineering teams to support company growth.
Lithoz introduces ceramic 3D printing technology to the African continent
Lithoz GmbH recently installed a CeraFab Lab L30 ceramic 3D printer at the Central University of Technology Free State in South Africa. The printer was acquired by the Department of Science and Innovation to support their Medical Device Additive Manufacturing Technology Demonstrator project.
Visy plots construction of $500 million Australian glass manufacturing and recycling plant
Visy plans to invest $500 million in a glass container manufacturing plant and recycling facility in Yatala, Queensland, Australia. Visy will relocate its current glass re-manufacturing operations from South Brisbane to Yatala, expected in 2025.

Borosil Renewables set to acquire two European solar glass manufacturing facilities
Indian solar glass manufacturer Borosil Renewables is set to acquire two European producers—lnterfloat Corporation and Glasmanufaktur Brandenbur—for €52.5 million. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Borosil’s ability to supply products to its European customer base.
TotalEnergies acquires US-based solar developer Core Solar
France-based oil and gas company TotalEnergies expanded its renewable energy portfolio in the U.S. by acquiring solar project developer Core Solar. Based in Austin, Texas, Core Solar has a 4 GW portfolio that includes utility-scale solar and energy storage projects currently in various stages of development.
Saint-Gobain Ceramics acquires Monofrax
Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics acquired the U.S. refractory producer Monofrax, from the German fund Callista. Saint-Gobain said the acquisition would help accelerate its growth in the refractory industry.
MAG Capital acquires majority stake in Superior Concrete Products
MAG Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in Superior Concrete Products, a Texas-based provider of precast concrete screening, sound walls, rail fences, and barrier systems for commercial and residential construction.

Growatt unveils solar rechargeable portable power station
Chinese inverter maker Growatt has launched Infinity 1500, a portable power station for off-grid applications. The station has a battery capacity of 1,554 Wh and an AC output of 2,000 W. The new product will be initially distributed in the United States and at a later stage in Europe, Asia Pacific, and other markets.
