Türkiye and China sign MOU to collaborate on rare earth mining
Türkiye and China signed a memorandum of understanding to advance the nations’ cooperation in all areas of mining, with a particular focus on critical minerals such as rare earth elements. The agreement follows an earlier memorandum focused on cooperation in energy transformation.
Australia and UK team up to back clean energy technologies
Australia and Britain plan to work together to ramp up the deployment of renewable energy technologies, such as green hydrogen and offshore wind, to support decarbonization, according to a joint statement released by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Cerrion launches Fire Detection AI for the glass industry
Software company Cerrion launched its Fire Detection AI technology for the glass industry. Cerrion’s base AI technology detects issues such as glass jams or fallen containers, triggering alarms or machine section stops. With Fire Detection AI, glassmakers can now automate responses based on flame size and duration, which further improves safety.
