ReElement announces Noblesville refinery expansion for rare earth production
ReElement Technologies, a rare earth element and critical mineral refining company, announced the expansion of its Noblesville facility by 141%. This expansion increases the critical mineral refining facility’s size to more than 16,500 square feet, offering an immediate refining capacity in excess of 200 metric tons per annum.
Koloma opens new lab at OSU to advance natural hydrogen exploration
Koloma, a natural hydrogen exploration company, opened a new laboratory at The Ohio State University’s Energy Advancement and Innovation Center. Dynamic Systems Inc., a subsidiary of Vishay Precision Group Inc., and Stony Brook University announced a beta evaluation of DSI’s ultrahigh-temperature ceramic and composite testing system. The system enables the testing of ceramics and other nonconductive materials at temperatures exceeding 2,000°C.
Madhvani Group completes HNG glass acquisition
India’s Hindusthan National Glass & Industries was finally sold to the Madhvani Group-owned Independent Sugar Corporation following months of regulatory discussions. Independent Sugar Corporation is part of the Uganda-based Madhvani Group, which also owns Tanzania’s Kioo Glass.
BASF partners with Ontal to supply Mexican glass industry
Baden Aniline and Soda Factory appointed Ontal as its authorized distributor of temperature sensing solutions for the glass industry in Mexico. The agreement covers BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions temperature sensing solutions for glass, heat treating, and cement, as well as other industrial applications.
