European Energy breaks ground on 225.5-MW Italian agrivoltaic park
Danish renewable energy company European Energy launched the construction of what will be Italy’s largest agrivoltaic park, a site in Sicily with an installed capacity of 225.5 MW. European Energy secured the project in Italy’s FER X Transitional Contract for Difference auction in late 2025.
World’s largest operating tokamak begins commissioning with major 8-meter coils upgrade
European and Japanese teams began the integrated commissioning of the JT-60SA tokamak to test its systems before a six-month round of plasma experiments scheduled for the end of 2026. The JT-60SA is currently the largest operational tokamak in the world.

AGC Glass Europe, in collaboration with its long-standing flat glass recycling partner Reiling, is now successfully recycling pre-consumer assembled automotive windshields on an industrial scale. The windshield glass is remelted in a closed, flat-to-flat loop to produce new automotive glass, marking a necessary step forward for sustainability in the automotive sector.
Tata Electronics and ASML join hands for semiconductor manufacturing in India
Indian electronics and semiconductor manufacturing player Tata Electronics signed a memorandum of understanding with Netherlands-based semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASML for its lithography tools. This partnership will support Tata Electronics’ new semiconductor fab in Dholera, Gujarat.
