Europe’s largest 3D-printed apartment building completed in just over a month

Europe’s largest 3D-printed multifamily residential building was completed in France, with the project said to be delivered three months faster than a comparable conventional build. The ViliaSprint² development, constructed by PERI 3D Construction using a COBOD BOD2 system, comprises 12 social housing apartments across three stories and around 800 m² of floor space.

The Nordic Additive Manufacturing Alliance marks the first time Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark have formally united their expertise in additive manufacturing under a single cooperative framework. Backed by Nordic Innovation through the Nordic Forward: Competitiveness and Resilience for 2050 program, the initiative runs from 2026 to 2028.

Vitro and Drexel partner on flat glass solar panel manufacturing project

Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development will distribute $3.1 million in grants to support student research projects in partnership with local manufacturing companies. Among the companies is Vitro Architectural Glass, which is partnering with Drexel University to enable large-scale manufacturing of flat glass for solar panels.

NorSAF and KBR sign agreement that could lead to a sustainable aviation fuel facility

NorSAF signed a permanent license agreement with KBR for the deployment of PureSAF, a sustainable aviation fuel technology.
