Back in July, I wrote about how ACerS had just launched its revamped ceramicSOURCE online directory of all things ceramic (e.g., manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, labs, schools, consultancies, etc.).
When the new directory was put together, ACerS transferred all of the previous data from the various enterprises to the new directory. Since it was launched, hundreds of businesses, experts and vendors have reviewed, updated and in many cases added additional information to their listing.
However, if you are one of the businesses, organizations or consultants that haven’t reviewed and updated your free basic listing, I urge you to do it as soon as possible. Just log in to your account and make the changes you need (if you forgot your password or don’t recall if you have an account, just follow the instructions).
Likewise, if you have never put a listing in the directory, it’s easy and, as I note above, it is free to do so. If you want to create an account, start here.
Perhaps as a big incentive, I should note that the information in the online version of ceramicSOURCE is used to created ACerS’ yearly printed collection of products and services directories contained in the December issue of the Bulletin. This is our most widely distributed issue of the Bulletin, so you will want to have your enterprise’s information entered and up-to-date.
I believe ACerS has been asking that all changes, updates and new listings be submitted by Sept. 1, 2011. But, we can extend the deadline for the printed directory somewhat — until Oct. 1, 2011.
Again, the basic listings are free, so it if you are connected with a company or organization interested in building its commerce or just getting some publicity, don’t miss this great opportunity.
