This is completely frivolous, I know, but it’s 80° today, which has me thinking vacationy thoughts.

These water-propelled gadgets made by the French racing jet ski company, Zapata Racing, allow riders to soar above the sea like superhero gymnasts and dive into the ocean like dolphins. Called “Flyboards,” this video from the company shows how they are made. It’s in French, but still fun and instructive to watch.

The video above makes it look easy to do flips and twirls in the sky, but the second video shows there is definitely a learning curve, despite the company’s claims that it’s “very intuitive: it’s like learning how to walk.”

Well, I learned how to walk once before, so why not again?
