Weary of looking for materials jobs or grad school/postdoc opportunities in the U.S.? Maybe its time to check out the Technical University of Denmark, located in beautiful Copenhagen.

Here are some of the school’s current openings:

  • Postdoc position in “Grain boundary engineering of functional thin films”
  • Ph.D. scholarship(s) in solid oxide electrolysis and solid oxide fuel cells to evaluate SOFCs for use in combination with biomass derived fuels and solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs) for the production of synthetic fuels
  • Postdoc in nanotechnology focused on developing customizable scanning probe tips for 3D AFM of deep trenches, vias, sidewalls and other non-planar structures
  • Ph.D. projects to study fundamental aspect of nanoparticle morphology, sintering and anchoring of nanoparticles
  • Research professor in mixed conducting ceramics with emphasis primarily on the R&D on functional ceramics for energy purposes, in particular on solid oxide fuel cells, electrolysis, membranes, flue gas purification, magnetic refrigeration and batteries
  • Research professor in materials mechanics and composite materials, and development of materials for wind turbines and for transportation
