Mineral sands miner Murray Zircon says it is already reaching targets at its Mindarie project in the Murray-Mallee. The company took over the site in 2011 after the previous owners, Australian Zircon, went into voluntary administration in 2009. The company produces about 10,000 to 12,000 tons of mineral concentrate per month. The company is still working on revamping the process to improve the consistency of operations.
