• Indian textiles company Arvind Ltd. has commissioned a new manufacturing facility to manufacture glass fabrics in India. It has formed a joint venture with German company PD Fibre Glass Group for the facility is situated at Santej, India. The JV formed in December 2011 has a 51–49 equity paticipation and will cater to the requirements of energy, automotive and infrastructure sectors.
• Magnezit Group will increase annual production of high quality fused magnesia by 100,000 tons in medium term. New capacities for production of this competitive product will be constructed at Russian production sites of the company in Chleaybinsk region and Krasnoyarsk Territory. Volume of investments will amount to more than 2 billion rubles.
